DescriptionTime interleaved converters take advantage of latency property to improve the sampling speed by adding more converters in parallel along with time shifted sampling clocks. This is very effective as there is a fundamental limit to the maximum sampling speed with single channel and it can be process technology dependent.
There is need of a calibration system for ADC which can efficiently handle single tone, multitone input signal configurations with notch free operation in a wide bandwidth.
By detecting input conditions, our unique approach is able to take advantage of appropriately selecting pure analog, blind digital and analog assisted digital calibration mechanism to achieve a notch free accurate interleaved ADC calibration
