DescriptionA complex SoC consists of bus fabrics, processors, real time IPs, memories and other IPs. The performance verification (PV) for the SoC is essential because the SoC should be designed to meet required specifications per masters. For PV, the improvement of workflow efficiency is required because the workflow time is increased as complexity of SoC design is grown. The conservative workflow (manually performed) does not cope with the PV for complex SoC. To achieve the improvement of workflow efficiency, we suggest the PV workflow automation tool that can manage entire steps except for results analysis and performance debugging. The workflow automation tool performs automatically steps of PV workflow, eliminate human error and minimize the number of re-test due to simulation environment issues. The application of the automation tool results in the reduction in workflow time significantly (74-80%). The PV workflow automation tool can allow us to obtain the reduced workflow time and moreover to focus on result analysis and performance debugging.
