DescriptionPhysical unclonable function (PUF) is a promising lightweight hardware security primitive that exploits process variations during the chip fabrication for key generation and device authentication. However, reliability has become the greatest challenge for current PUF designs. Specially, even state-of-the-art PUFs are highly sensitive to temperature and voltage fluctuations and hard to be applied in the working environments with large fluctuations in voltage and temperature. This paper proposes a new dual-state analog PUF (DA PUF) which is fabricated in a SIMC 55nm process and shows the lowest sensitivity to temperature and voltage.
