DescriptionThe adoption of the horizontal semiconductor supply chain model has led to Trust issues among different vendors in the supply chain. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Trojans are a special class of hardware Trojan that can be inserted in the PCB level of the electronic system to carry out a wide range of malicious acts. In this paper, we propose a machine learning based PCB Trojan detection framework to verify the trustworthiness of PCB's. We have trained two kinds of classifiers, for different levels of Trojan detection in a PCB. The framework has been tested to detect two types of Trojans.
