DescriptionTraditionally, stochastic computing (SC) multiplication suffers large
error with small inputs due to its intrinsic property.
In this work, we propose a new scaled counting-based SC multiplication
approach to improve this issue by introducing a scaling part to
promise the bit `1' density of the stochastic number (SN)
larger than 0.5. In other words, the proposed method convert all
the ``small" inputs to ``large" inputs, thus improve the accuracy of SC
multiplication.
