DescriptionPersistent memory, such as Optane Persistent Memory, has been in the market for a few years and well-integrated into computing systems. However, various challenges remain, ranging from applications, system software, architectures to devices, before we can fully exploit its potential. This session includes six novel persistent-memory techniques to enhance the performance of killer applications and memory systems considering various issues such as throughput, security, crash recovery, write latency, and hybrid memory architecture.
