DescriptionThe session covers a wide range of emerging technologies, starting from ferroelectric transistors and resistive memories all the way to more long-term quantum dots and Skyrmion gates. The session aims at demonstrating the promise of such emerging technologies along with the new challenges that they bring to EDA. The session will present five papers, starting with novel ferroelectric-based CAM cell design and new design automation methodologies for silicon dangling bond logic. It will then also cover how ICs can be protected using camouflaged Skyrmion gates and how novel graph neural network algorithms can be employed to increase prediction accuracy in microfluidic chips. Finally, a novel error correction scheme to increase the reliability of compute-in-memory circuits is presented.
